I am a 26 year old Auckland based personal trainer and nutritionist.
I was born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand. I relocated back in 2014 after a 6 year stint in the Gold Coast. I originally started my involvement in what I call the fitness phononoum in 2009 when i decided I wanted to loose some weight. It had crept up slowly (as it almost always does) without me noticing too much and when I finally did I couldn’t believe i hadn’t taken action sooner.
My journey started with a gym membership at a local gym in Surfers Paradise where I proceeded to do cardio on the treadmills and cross trainers every day. Initially I lost a few kilos but this trend slowed down and eventually stopped which drove me to question what I was doing wrong. I was eating what I thought was healthy, and I was at the gym every day but not making any more dramatic or noticeable changes.
My curiosity got the better of me and being the all or nothing person I am I decided to study personal training so as to better understand what I was missing and how I could improve my body, my energy levels, my lifestyle, and my general health.
Having now studied personal training and particularly in-depth advanced nutrition I have long since been in love with the industry in all its shapes and sizes from bikini divas, to bodybuilding, to weight loss and general everyday health and fitness.
